Dear Pastors, Youth Leaders, friends of IBYC:
Warmest Christian greetings! The 34th Independent Baptist Youth of the Caribbean Conference will soon be here.
Our plans are for it to be the best conference ever for our youth. 
It has been agreed by the Youth Leaders and the Pastors that they will host on St. Marten the 2012 Independent Baptist Youth of the Caribbean Conference. This will commence July 15-22-2012

 

The Theme of the conference “Changing our Direction” Proverbs 3:5-6.  After coming into this full surrender with the Lord where He is now in full control of our life – two things will now start to occur. God will immediately place you on the path that He will want you to follow in Him. And on that path will be our call or calls, our jobs and exactly what he will want you to do for Him for the rest of our earthly life. I (we) need to change the way we work for God. Our methods are producing the same poor results. Let us change our direction-in our conversation, our appearance, our character, and in our service to God.

Our guest speaker is Youth Pastor Pierre Cannings from Houston Texas and is returning for a second consecutive time due to numerous requests by the youth of the Caribbean.

We are very happy to report that our new structure was very successful as our last conference as this was the first time it was implemented in St. Kitts at our last conference. Many thanks to Pastors Keithly Saunders and Lloyd Williams who work tirelessly with us to make sure all went well.

It also a pleasure to report that IBYC has now its own separate Bank account with CIBC First Caribbean International Bank.    Our needs are many--Technology--website upgrading and maintenance, correspondence, brochures, ink and many conference materials and travel. We encourage our churches to pray that God will continually provide for us.

Our Face Book page is climbing to four hundred; this indicates the high interest the youth around the Caribbean is giving to this ministry. Please continue to pray for IBYC and its Leaders as we prepare ourselves to host the youth of the Caribbean to the best conference ever on St. Maarten.
